Search Mechanix
We
have experience with all major search engines and years of experience
at major advertising and search agencies from across the country. Most
importantly, we can cut through all the search jargon to tell you what
will work for your site.
Our
approach is systematic, persistent and realistic.
We have all the intelligence of the big Search Engine Marketing firms
with the personal service of a small one. Why spend too much money and
time for SEM services when you can hire straight-forward, realistic ex-agency
professionals at lower freelance rates?
Our
Founder -Dave Pektas
Most
recently Dave was employed by a respected search marketing agency in Seattle,
WA. He moved down to California late 2008 to escape the rain and be closer
to the sun and surf. He has worked at major ad agencies since 1994 in
New York, San Francisco and Orange County. You can see all of his experience
and testimonials in detail at his linkedin
profile. Here's a sample of what people have said about him:
“Dave
is one of the most efficient and knowledgeable SEM's I've ever worked
with. His deep understanding of Search strategy and tactics are second
to none. His unique and proven approach would be an asset to any company
with a desire to harness the power of the online channel.” March

“When I first interviewed Dave I realized "this guy is sharp!"
Little did I know how quick Dave would become a master of search engine
marketing. His tactical expertise and knowledge of Google/Yahoo/MSN functionality
is uncanny. More important is that Dave can translate the minutiae that
can be search marketing into a story that connects with clients. It's
rare that someone can "talk tech" then succinctly communicate
the strategic importance of a particular action as it relates to business
objectives. Dave does that and does it while connecting with clients at
a personal level.” September 22, 2008
“I think Dave is the best! Whatever he takes on he will do it to
the very best of his ability (which is high). He is diligent and detail
oriented. He gives about 150% to what he does. He has a strong a calming
presence in the work environment. He is very respected by management and
by his coworkers. I miss working with Dave and I hope to get to work with
him again in the future.” March 17, 2008
